The hype about the new Moto by Lenovo phone was all abuzz long back in March this year. There were real-time renders, and to add to this, there were physical handsets themselves leaked on twitter. Seems like the hype-train's destination has already arrived. Motorola are all set to launch its fourth generation Moto G on May 17 in India.

The company has already begun tweeting about the product hinting at various feature upgrades one can expect with the new device. But now, all of a sudden according to another twitter leak, Moto G4 might be coming in two variants after all like its predecessor. But back then, Motorola had announced Moto G3 and Moto G Turbo at two different intervals of time in the past financial year but seems like this time around both devices could launch together.

The phone will also be equipped with an NFC chip according to the same leak. Earlier rumors as seen suggested Moto G4 would be the first Moto device to feature a fingerprint scanner. Moto India's twitter account began teasing their new phone in the market also to have better battery life. However, the new leak suggests Moto G4 will come with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera while the rumored second variant might have better specifications in terms of camera. The phone rumored to come in the same size will now sport a better camera with a 16MP sensor capable of shooting full HD videos. While the announcements are not yet made, whatever rumors floating around have the same information with the hardware specifications.

The phones will come in Micro-Sim standards along with IPX7 certifications. This means that the phone will be resist water up to a metre or about thirty meters. According to a tweet by Evan Blass, themold for the new phone is all out on the tweeting platform with a new physical home buttonpresent on the front. This might probably indicate the fact that the phone might be out in themarket with a reportedly new fingerprint sensor after all. Well, if this report comes true, this might however be the second android smartphone from Moto manufacturing to come out with a biometric sensor. Surprisingly, the phone still sports the classic "Moto" dimple on the back which indicates that Lenovo still want to market the moto phones in an "as-is" basis.
