'Girl Meets World' Season 3 Release Date, Spoilers, Rumors & Update: First Teaser of the Show Revealed

The fans already know that Maya, Riley and their friends will be moving to high school in the third season. This will be a huge change for the characters, inviting a lot of drama in their lives and by extension, to the show as well.

Recent news reports suggest that the love triangle between Maya, Lucas, and Riley will finally end as he finally chooses one girl over another. However, he will maintain his friendship with the other girl, introducing more drama.

But the love triangle will not be the central theme of the third season of "Girl Meets World." Previous reports said that there will no love triangle in the new season. "If the audience perceives that what this is about is a love triangle, then they don't know us," "Girl Meets World" said Michael Jacobs, season 3 co-creator. "There is a much bigger and broader conceptual question that we are answering with what appears to be a triangle between Riley, Maya and Lucas."

As the girls transition from their teenage into high school, they will be supported by their Uncle Josh who will help them survive in their new world.

A brand new promo for the show is already out. The short clip shows the gang in high school showing Riley and Maya in a conversation. "Promise me that no matter what happens, we'll always stick together" as a group of students pass through them and pull them apart. The promo ends with Lucas telling Riley, "You are just too much for me, Riley."

"Girl Meets World" will have a two-part premiere event this June. The new season is expected to release in spring.
