Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date and News Update: Square Enix Slated To Reveal More Details at KH Concert
In celebration of the Kingdom Hearts 15th anniversary, a worldwide tour concert for the franchise's global fans starting in spring next year. In the concert series, fans will be given a treat of their favorite sound tracks plus a number of possible updates regarding the franchise's ongoing projects.
As per Movie News Guide, the first of the world tour will kick off in Japan this summer. Titled 'First Breath, the premier will take place in the Japanese cities of Tokyo, Aichi, and Osaka featuring original soundtracks from the role-playing game like 'Passion' and 'Hikari'. Tickets are already for online purchase on franchise's website.
On March 10 next year, Kingdom of Hearts will travel to France, UK, Singapore, China, and the US with tickets available online this May 14.
The concert will reportedly include performances from highly-reputable assemblage of musical talents like London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Japan's Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Walking down the memory lane, Kingdom Hearts is a crossover game of various worlds. It was first rolled out on PlayStation 2 back in 2001. The world tour will reportedly begin as soon as the Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is released on PlayStation 4 around this year, Polygon reported.
Meanwhile, the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 is reportedly moved for a slated launch next year with swirling rumors suggesting that the alleged cause of the delay is Square Enix's priority to release 'Final Fantasy XV' this year as per University Herald report.
The purported delay first surfaced when voice game voice talent Quinton Flynn took to the social media for not being called up for voice recording. He tweeted his answer to fans who flooded him with questions regarding the game's update. Flynn voiced over Axel's character in the previous titles.
In another interesting development, there are growing speculations about KH 3's purported expansion of its characters in the forthcoming installment. If reports prove accurate, we'll see new Disney characters filling up the roster like Frozen's Queen Elsa, Iron Man, Captain Jack Sparrow from "Pirates of the Caribbean", and even "Star Wars" villain Darth Vader.
