The Batman solo film is expected to have a big surprise in store for its fans. It is speculated that the film might include several iconic villains, including everyone's favorite, the Joker.

The new Batman solo film is being made by Warner Bros and Ben Affleck. The latter recently debuted as Gotham's most famous son in the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

According to reports, Affleck is planning to make a "definitive" Batman film, in collaboration with the Chief Creative Officer at DC Comics, Geoff Johns. Affleck is reportedly playing the lead in the movie, in addition to the direction.

The team is therefore, planning to include a brigade of villains from Batman's back catalog in the upcoming movie. The report suggests that "many, if not most, members of Batman's rogue's gallery will be making appearances in the film."

The report further states that Affleck and Johns together wish to narrate the ultimate Batman's story and that is the reason they might want to include a plethora of villains and other characters. They are expected to put a big Batman universe in place for the production of the upcoming movie.

Initially, it was rumored that the upcoming movie will be based on comic-book arc, Batman: Under the Hood, which involved the story of a brutal and violent villain called Red Hood. However, the latest rumor suggests that it might not be actually true, despite the character's presence in Warner Bros.

It is now speculated that a majority of characters in the new Batman solo film would come from Arkham Asylum, suggesting that it might include popular villains such as The Joker, Bane, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc or Mad Hatter.

Despite poor rating for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans are eager to see Affleck's performance in the upcoming Batman solo film.
