Minecraft Latest Update News: Minecraft Gets a “Gear VR” Edition Released

All fans owning a Samsung's Gear VR headset can now rejoice! Why? Samsung Gear VR adds Minecraft to their list of games. But there will be haters, since Minecraft's Gear VR edition will be available on the Oculus store but however it will be exclusive to Samsung Gear VR as a "exclusive" indicating one of the most bizarre moves ever.

The price will be somewhere around 6.99$US. Oculus have already made the announcement in their official website. "We're excited to announce that Minecraft: Gear VR Edition is here. You can get it on the Oculus Store starting today for $6.99."

The blog post in the Oculus site read: "Minecraft: Gear VR Edition supports all the features of Pocket Edition, including Creative and Survival modes, skins, and multiplayer. You can choose between the more comfortable default theater view or the more intense and immersive first-person view that lets you stand beside your creations." This has infuriated a lot of Oculus VR hardware users regarding this move. But however, Oculus were quick to confirm that an Oculus Rift version of the game were already under developments. They also mentioned that the game should be out "very soon".

The Minecraft site however were all of positive vibes. Their website all welcomed the users of Samsung gear VR where it read: "We're excited to announce that Minecraft: Gear VR Edition is here. You can get it on the Oculus Store starting today for $6.99."
