Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Release Date, News and Rumors: New Phone Will Have Two Variants and a Bigger Battery Size
After a quite successful launching of Samsung's smartphone flagship, Galaxy S7, tech buffs and critics have been speculative over Galaxy Note 6's market reception once the South Korean tech giant decides to unveil it.
As per mounting roundups churning out from the rumor mill, a new reports suggests that Samsung is likely to release two versions of the phablet from the Note series. If rumors prove accurate, the purported arrival of the highly anticipated device would be in August this year.
As per report scooped from the Christian Times, Samsung is reportedly designing two variants of the said device. Furthermore, the tech website also mentioned that the gadget will be designed as a hybrid phablet. As for the differences between the two variants, Samsung similarly applies the current Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge concept. The two phablet variants will only differ on the screen designs and a number of minor features.
Another hearsay from Phone Arena suggest that while two renders are currently in development, only one version may likely be considered for production and market release. As for dimensions and specifications, Note 6 is believed to sport an ultra-slim design with a slim RGB display to make the weight extremely lighter according as per Vine Report. The battery is expected to have a longer lifespan at 4,000mAh capacity. The camera is reportedly armed with a 12MP rear lens.
As for the phablet's internal specs, WCCF Tech predicted that the device may be powered with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 823 at 2.2 GHz to give an 18% increase to its current speed and partnered with Exynos 8890 chipset to add an extra CPU kick coupled with 6GB RAM and three base storage offerings such as 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Although exact information on its release date remains scarce, pundits think that the launching is likely to happen in the third quarter either in July or August this year.
If all the above-mentioned swirling rumors prove right, then Samsung's next generation phablet will surely give its fierce rivals a run for their money and perhaps redefine consumer perspective on high-end smart devices.
