You have to wait till May 6, 2016, to watch Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" if you are in the U.S., even though it has already hit the global theaters in other countries today. The American hero, Steve Rogers and his gang of do-gooders are already creating sensational excitement everywhere and have started the box office magic ringing.

The movie is being released in 63 percent of its total foreign territory by Friday, including in the U.K. and Australia, even though China, with the second largest audience, can watch the movie only on May 5. The early tracking reports claim that the movie can probably win $200 million by Sunday.

While "Avengers: Age of Ultron" started with $212 million internationally, "Civil War" might cross that magic number. "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" swiped $78 million in its global debut, so Marvel might be the record breaker soon.

The "Civil War" North American winnings are expected to be around $175 million in the first weekend. Some predict even greater winnings going by the Disney records. Though it is not clear how it will play out in China, "Age of Ultron" showed the second-biggest opening weekend  ever with $156 million.

Hence, if its two-week rollout is predicted to account for its overseas and domestic openings, it is assumed that it will hit the $200 million mark by the end of this week, with the $175 million mark in North America and much above $100 million in China.

Thus, the movie could be halfway to $1 billion at the international box office within two weeks.

While everyone knows that it is a sure winner, it is not clear whether this one is the biggest film of the year or not.
