Manchester United On the Verge of Sealing £46 Million Renato Sanches Deal

If there is one club in English football who are known for giving an opportunity to youngsters then it is Manchester United and it is in fact often seen , that the club are often prepared to pay large amounts in transfer fees if it means that they can acquire a youngster of great promise. It seems that Manchester United and their scouts have unearthed the latest star from the Portuguese league in the form of Benfica's 18 year old midfielder Renato Sanches. According to latest reports published widely across the British media, Manchester United have tabled a bid of £46 million for the player after having placed a big of £40 million a few days earlier.

The club are desperated to add a sprinkling of highly skilled talent to their ranks as they look to go create a team that would be able to blow teams away in the years to come and the player described as the 'Portuguese with most potential since Cristiano Ronaldo' seems to be the player who is going to be first among many who are going to be brought to Old Trafford this summer. Sanches is a central midfielder who has the ability to control play from deep and also win balls in the middle of the park and according to many, he is a player who is a throwback to Dutch great Edgar Davids.

Considering the fact that he is only 18 years old at the moment, the fee of £46 million might seem expensive but it simply cannot be denied that it will prove to be a very prudent investment if Sanches delivers on his promies. For instance, United's decision to spend a deal totalling £60 million for Monaco's Anthony Martial is already looking like a bargain due to the way in which the youngster has played in his very first season in English football. Some of the biggest clubs in the world including the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City were after the signature of Renato Sanches but it seems that it is going to be Manchester United who will be successful in securing his signature in a mega deal.
