Facebook are now all but finding more ways to facilitate users to profit themselves from their posts on the social media network. A user-survey dropped to a Facebook user this week hints at a range of ways to provide users could make money or even promote their causes with a tip-jar.

This also includes for branded content and taking a cut of the ad revenue that the social media giant earns. The survey also asked users to fill in their interest for a "call to action" button to make way for donations along with a "sponsor marketplace" to input similar advertisements to users. The survey was spotted on the page of a verified user.

Facebook as of now are currently not supporting users to earn money by posting on Facebook. Currently only publishers can sell their advertising in its "Instant articles" format and also updated rules for allowing posts for brands sponsored to be shared by the respective verified Facebook page. Facebook is also experimenting ads within the suggestions to pop up right after you watch a video in a way of sharing money with publishers. Only recently did the company make available their publishing tools in a wide manner.

"It's still very early, but we're committed to creating sustainable, long-term monetization models for our partners and we're listening to feedback," a Facebook spokeswoman responded to a request. Facebook will not be the first social media platform to let users profit from their posts. YouTube launched a revenue-sharing program for prominent users in 2007.

Twitch streaming platform for gamers also lets "twitch partners" make money through revenue sharing, subscriptions, and merchandise sales. Facebook's interest in monetization comes in an aggressive move to independently dominate their platform for real-time revenue sharing. In any
way, new options are discovered for generating revenue seems very likely to pull more sharing to Facebook.
