If there is one club in the world who are almost always after the latest star to emerge in top level football then it is Real Madrid and it seems that they have now trained their sights on English football's hottest new star in the form of Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane. Harry Kane has been one of the most prolific scorers in the English Premier Leagua over the past two seasons and after breaking into the first team in 2014-15 he banged in 21 goals in the league, before returning a tally of 24 goals in 2015-16 with four game still to go. It is not a surprise that the biggest clubs in Europe are now after his services and accrding to reports in the British publication Evening Standard, the forward is wanted by Real Madrid and would like him to be the replacement for their French striker Karim Benzema, who could be sold in the summer.

Real Madrid has made some big purchases from Tottenham Hotspur in the past which included the sale of midfielder Luka Modric and then even more famously, the record breaking sale of Welshman Gareth Bale in 2013. So, there is precedent when it comes to Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur doing business together involving the most coveted players plying their trade at the North London club. However, it is understood that Tottenham are going to repel any attempts to buy the biggest player in their squad at the moment and are all set to refuse to sell Harry Kane for any price.

Kane was given a new contract roughly a year ago according to which he now earns £50,000 a week but he he is going to be offered another contract in order to make sure that his head is not turned when a far bigger offer comes along from some of the richest clubs in Europe. German giants Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also thought to be interested in the young striker, but is is expected that Harry Kane is going to ply his trade in North London for the foreseeable future.
