‘Red Dead Redemption 2' release date and rumors: Is The Game in Development?

In a recent post, someone uploaded a picture that looked like a map of anticipated game, "Red Dead Redemption 2." Even though there is no official word about the game's release or development from the game developers, the fans haven't stopped wishing for the hype to be true.

However, it was noted in some reports that leaked map has some discrepancies. One of the inconsistencies can be attributed to the location name, New Bordeaux, which is specific to "Mafia 3." Now this raises a question of whether or not this leaked map belongs to "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Another rumor that supports the leaked map buzz is about the developer Rockstar who is looking for a networking programmer. This person's job role will be to implement dynamic multiplayer functionality into open world. The applicant is also required to be well versed with gameplay mechanics.

These all may be mere guesses at this point but the fans are more optimistic as it has been three and a half years since the last game released, and it would be a good time to launch the game sequel.

A Reddit user, AnonDN1978, revealed that this is the perfect timing for the game to be either released or at least announced. The possible title could be "red dead redemption 2: Legends of the West."

Until the game developers make an official announcement, it is best for the fans and gamers to take all this information and rumors not too seriously. If indeed the rumor is true, the best time to look for an authentic update will be during E3 in June.
