Chelsea's Eden Hazard Dismisses Real Madrid Transfer Rumours

Chelsea's troubled forward has been linked with moves away from the West London club for quite some time following a woeful show in the 2015-16 season and one of the clubs which has been most heavily linked with him has been Real Madrid. However, Hazard has stated categorically that he is not on his way out of Chelsea and he is not joining Real Madrid in the summer as has been reported by several outlets over the past few weeks. The forward, who propelled Chelsea to their 4th league title win in 2014-15 under Jose Mourinho has not been able to score a goal in the league this season and it was thought that the player was willing to move to Real Madrid or Paris Saint Germain in order to reclaim his form. In fact, the player himself had stated in the past that it would be difficult to turn down an offer from Real Madrid.

However, Hazard has quashed all those rumoures with his latest stataments in relations to his future. He said, 'Have I signed for Real? No, that's not true, I do not know who said that. For now, I am at Chelsea. I have a season to finish, and my contract ends in four years. For now, I'm here, and I am, and I want to get back on the field with Chelsea.' Hazard's poor form throughout the season has been cited as one of the biggest reasons why Chelsea has failed to mount a credible defence of their league title which they won in 2014-15 and his alleged fallout with former manager Jose Mourinho has not gone down well with the Stamford Bridge faithful either.

Hazard is currently trying to get back to full fitness as he tries to ensure that he is on the team sheet for the game against Manchester City in the weekend. It is interesting to note that other than Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain has also been linked to him and in these quotes Hazard has stated that is at Chelsea 'for now'. Hence a move in the near future cannot be rules out.
