Once Upon a Time Season 5, Episode 18 News Update and Spoilers: “Ruby Slippers” Sees the Female Characters Taking Command
ABC's fairytale series "Once Upon a Time" has some great action lined up in the coming episode "Ruby Slippers" where the female characters will take command in their hands to fight the evil forces.
In the previous episode "Her Handsome Prince", we had already seen Emma and team stumbling upon Ruby/Red in Hade's haven after failing to hit the beast.
The flashbacks will take Ruby and Mulan to Oz where they come face to face with Dorothy (Teri Reeves). When the three see Zelena (Rebecca Mader) making a return, they seek ways to defeat her for good but in a mysterious turn of events, Dorothy disappears, prompting Ruby to start a frantic search that brings her to the Underworld.
Ruby becomes reunited with Emma, Regina and Snow and together, they begin to look for Dorothy. But Snow and David are facing another struggle as they long to be with their son Neal. Their desire is very strong and thus, they figure out a plan for one of them to escape the Underworld.
The coming episode will see Ruby (Meghan Ory) and Mulan (Jamie Chung) making guest appearances and will have some major moments in the proceedings. It will also star Victoria Smurfit as Cruella De Vil, Emma Caulfield as the Blind Witch, Paul Lazenby as Claude and Gina Stockdale as Auntie Em.
Meanwhile, the promo of the episode has already showed us Emma and Zelena having a confrontation over the kidnapping of Dorothy. Emma accuses the evil witch of ensnaring Dorothy in an unbreakable curse and the witch replies with a wicked expression, saying sorry for being good at what she does.
It also showed a shocked Emma along with Snow and Regina when the three see Hades (Greg Germann) appearing in front of them and warning in an ominous tone that the gods hate it when mortals play with their toys.
"Ruby Slippers" airs on coming Sunday- 16 April at 8 p.m. on ABC.
