Google along with LG announced their new flagship for 2013 with the "Hammerhead" which is Nexus 5 for the normal consumer. It was the best nexus phone produced till then. With over 3 million units sold in less than half-a year, it dominated the consumer budget-friendly mobile market back then.

To revive the Nexus 5, Google came back to the 5 sequel with their new announcement in 2015 also by LG with the "Nexus 5X". . Nexus 5X is now all out with a beautiful design along with new features, better specifications, also comes with fingerprint sensor called the Nexus imprint and also a better camera. But since it's actually for users who want to experience stock vanilla android with a budget constraint, it does lack a bit of smoothness in performance, now this is not applicable to every nexus 5x user there but for those who are having struggles with your new phones. Users were experiencing intermittent lagging in performance along with camera bug etc. While, these are only some of them, they might still be beneficial to you.

Its always important to clear unnecessary files sitting in your system. Because having these in your phone for too long might bring down performance of your phone to a good extent. System cache and app cache are stored in two different places. Clearing the cache will not wipe out any data you might have stored on the phone along with any settings that you are adapted to including brightness levels etc. This should be obviously known. But you can always stay safe touchwood! by taking a backup of all your data at regular intervals of your time. Just go to your device settings, tap on "Device" and then select all apps that need cache clearance and then boom! it's all done once you press clear cache. The only con is for some apps this needs to be done manually.

Fingerprint sensors are present in the new 5X device but this is a lot useful if you are the only user of your phone since this is the most secured method to restrict your phone from being accessed by someone else. This is also useful for buying any content on the app store since this can be done with a touch of the sensor. This is superb in speed. Its better to use your biometric sensor. If you haven't activated you can do it from the settings menu under security.

Unlock the developer option in your phone. Go to your phone and press the build number under "About phone" until it unlocks the developer facilities for you. If you are an advanced, I need not tell more. But this will let you with a more advanced control of your phone than a normal phone user. It's always better to use your charger that came out of the box than borrow it from someone else. This might lead to short-circuits or destruction to phone etc. So please carry your chargers wherever you go, power banks should be good as long as you charge your device well within input limit. Customize the quick setting as you want. Re-arrange the tiles in the quick settings menu or even add many of them if you root your phone and install a custom rom.

Cyanogen are doing a fantastic job with ROMs for most devices. Check them out. XDA-Developers are the core community of Android and there is no android without XDA. So if you are not satisfied with your rom, kernel go put another one from XDA. Advanced members always like to share. Don't like anything afterwards? Just factory reset your phone. Everything will be back to normal as how it arrived out of the box.
