Caityln Jenner News: Is Caitlyn Jenner's Lipstick All About Her State Of Mind?

After Caitlyn Jenner came out in public in 2015, she has been big time headline material. She got the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs, got her very own reality television show, and also was selected as the face of the H&M Sport promotion.

Recently, she has been reported  to be collaborating with MAC on a custom lipstick. The lippie has already got rave reviews and is "obviously amazing" for fans. But the big question was----what was the name of Caitlyn Jenner's MAC lipstick?

It is now out. Finally, 'Finally Free' is the name. It is obvious that the lipstick is synonymous with her state of mind now----comfortable with her identity and life.

It was in February that MAC Cosmetics announced the launch of the special limited-edition lipstick by the transgender icon.

"Finally Free" is a rose hue, which is the 66-year-old "I Am Cait" star's preferred shade. It hit just a few stores on Thursday, April 7. The announcement is that all 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated for the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative, in order to help support transgender communities.

Earlier, she often talked openly about having lived a lot of life "not being true to her identity." And now, at last, she wants to be out in the open and live out her life fully, in her real self. Hence, her lipstick will be as "Finally Free" as she is.

As she said in an interview: "So, for me, it's been an amazing experience, but I've also learned that I am the exception to the rule; I certainly am not the rule. The horror stories I've heard of homelessness, and of what we call "survival crimes" by trans people just to survive - it's shocking to see how tough it really is out there for most of the community. So, it's been eye-opening. I realize that I'm in a position where I can help people who are really struggling by creating a platform and bringing exposure to the issue."

Ever since she came out with her debut on the Vanity Fair cover, she has talked freely about her transition, transgender rights as well as learning and growing. Her first makeup design has a lot of links with what she has undergone as well as the larger transgender rights movement.

Hence, she talked about what inspired the name of her lipstick in her interview with MAC. "I wanted a name that I use, and which represents the community. This is who I am: Finally Free."
