Vampires Diaries season 8 News and Rumors: Kat Graham To Exit The Friday Night Marvel; Says She is Gratified to Be A Part Of CB Based Vampires Diaries
If you are highly looking forward to Season 8 of 'The Vampire Diaries', then keep your fingers crossed as it is probably going to be the last supernatural series offered by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec.
And this is not the only bitter truth we have to face as the series star Kat Graham recently announced that she won't be a part of the show after season eight.
Seems like the 26-year old has other plans to continue as in an interview conducted by the US Weekly, she expressed gratitude to the team for making her an exceptional, integral part for seven straight seasons. Making it the last episode, Graham's ultimate appearance will be seen in May 2017.
While Bonnie Bennett plays a powerful witch in the series, she left a heart-rending message for her fans as she will depart the CW based drama very soon. The Friday night drama will, thus, have to fill the plot line vacuum as an essential member of the masterpiece is leaving.
Graham as Bonnie had countless resurrection abilities; the character was able to bring the people back from dead and transfer souls back into their native bodies. She made her first appearance in 2009 along with Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev.
The beauty maintains 'I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. If the crew can come with me, then we'll be good. The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family.' 'I think the biggest episodes I've ever had are 20 [airing April 29] and 21 [airing May 6]. It's pretty major for the character - huge turns, a lot of stunts and cool s--t!'
The Vampire Diaries airs on Fridays on The CW at 8 p.m. ET.
