Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs iPhone 6s Plus: Which Phone is better?

Samsung's latest Note sequel the Note "5" is a huge hit in the Android base due to people loving the varied facilities a user has been granted that makes consumers work around ways to properly utilize their phablets. But however its as slippery as it's secured by Corning gorilla glass 4 on both the sides giving it a glossy slippery feel.

The iPhone 6s plus on the other hand is as slippery as the note 5 itself. Both are approximately sized the same with both phablets measuring six inches in size. While the Former was released in August, the latter was announced in October. The Note 5 weighs about 171 grams compared to Apple's 6s plus which weighs around 192 grams. Both the devices are supported by only a single Nano-SIM which are LTE capable with LTE speeds of 450/50mbps on the Note 5 compared to 300/50mbs on the 6S plus.

The Note 5 has LTE Cat9 technology and the 6s plus, LTE Cat6. Both the devices are equipped with a fingerprint sensor which can be used not only to unlock the phones but also purchase content on their respective app stores or even use it to pay for services if you are one of those lucky people residing in United States, Canada, or even Austrlia and United Kingdom. The Note 5 has an additional function to use a stylus.

The display in the Note 5 is a super AMOLED panel designed by Samsung and implemented in their devices. While the 6s plus still carries an LCD-backlit IPS LCD panel, both of the devices support 16M colors. The 5.7inches Note 5 also boasts a quad-HD display with a pixel density of 518PPI. The 6S plus still has a full HD display with a pixel density of 401. In terms of screen security, the Note 5 is secured by scratch-proof Corning Gorilla glass 4 while the 6S plus houses oleophobic coating on its ion-strengthened glass.

The iPhone 6s plus also has 3D touch and display-to-zoom technology which are exclusive to Apple devices and only recent flagships as of now. Android 5.1 Lollipop powers the note 5 while iOs 9.3 is running on iPhone 6s plus. Both samsung and Apple manufacture their own hardware and the Note 5 is having an octa-core processor Exynos 7420 clocked at 1.ghz for four cortex a-53 cores and 2.1ghz for four cortext-A57 cores with Mali-T760PM8 gpu powering the device while the iPhone 6s plus out of the box comes with an Apple A9 chipset dual-core 1.84ghz chipset and supporting it is the PowerVR's GT7600 six core graphics processing unit.

In terms of memory, there are no expandable storage options on both phones with the maximum internal memory for bot h the devices are 128GB ram. The iPhone 6s plus runs on 2GB of memory while it is doubled on the Note 5 with 4GB. The 16MP rear camera in Note 5 is capable of taking low-light pictures due to f/1.9 capacities and record 4k videos at 30fps. The iPhone 6s plus has a 12MP camera size with video recording upto 4k recording upto 30fps.Both the phones support OIS.
