Microsoft says Windows Phone-Base Not Their Focus Now

A statement on Microsoft read that their phones were not the prime focus for this year.

This is one piece of information a windows phone user rather not hear in any way but it's not an April fools' joke either. This is shattering news especially if you are a developer or someone who just invested in a windows phone recently.

It is now true that for this year, Microsoft are now more focused on anything but Windows phones. So as usual, it again falls down from the competition with other operating systems for mobile phones.

Since Satya Nadella has taken over Microsoft with the company's leadership now in his helm, he has turned over Microsoft with some major renaissance in their products with a new move to push lead into cloud services. Although controversial, the problem seems to have been left behind are that Microsoft's own mobile platform development.

A lot of analysts however are firm in believing that Microsoft' intentions of reaching smartphone's users with the latest move is not really right with now that Microsoft's recent applications for Android and Apple's iOs user base is now better than their windows side, Microsoft may have finally conceded defeat about bringing their services and applications to different platforms than getting into their own environment. This might induce a feeling for users not to migrate to Windows phones no matter how better their apps in other platforms be.

Microsoft however have promised users about some interesting things but didn't really specify whether it would be for a windows device. It all seems to look like an empty promise. Even though the universal windows platform does get out the burden to separately monitor apps for their own system, the development portal is yet to take-off.

Perhaps, if you are one of those anticipating about a purchase of Windows devices, you might have to post pone your decision for about a year now or maybe opt for a phone from a different platform.
