It seems the next season of "The Voice" will have a great coach in the form of Miley Cyrus, who is currently serving as an adviser on the current season.

The 23-year-old is not just making the perfect pitch with her words and also a good pair with Christina Aguilera. The duo's singing is like a breather between all the heartbreaking eliminations that the knockout round is witnessing. It looks like they will become the new Adam Levine and Blake Shelton of "The Voice".

As for teams, all the coaches are now left with eight contestants, which will come down to twenty in the next knockout round. The face-offs between the teams were tough and it was a tad difficult for every coach to choose one over another, as the finest renditions made decisions difficult.

Team Blake had it a little easy as Sam Cooke's "Bring It on Home to Me" by Adam Wakefield was an out and out winner. The participant aces country charts with amazing grit and it won't be a surprise if he becomes a frontrunner in the coming episodes. Peyton Parker is also not someone who could be written off easily, but her foibles did her in.

Somewhat similar was the case with Christina as Tamar's "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith was far above Maya's "No One" from Alicia Keys. Despite the former overdoing the chorus in a bid to express heartache, it proved stronger than Maya, who was continuously sharp, during half of her performance.

The harder choice was for Pharrell as Moushumi and Nick did give each other close competition. As per sources, the girl with the lovely clear voice, who has given up her medical career to pursue music, was awesome at "New Americana" though she did seem cautious during the chorus. Nick's "Lost without You" by Robin Thicke featured fine falsetto, but the cadence proved to be his sore point, making Moushumi win.
