You Missed The $500 PS4 Anniversary Edition, And It’s Now Worth $15K on eBay

The time between deciding and actually buying the Sony's grey color anniversary edition PS4 console has passed and the lucky owners are auctioning the consoles on eBay for as much as $15k.

Sony was simply celebrating the twentieth anniversary of PlayStation last Wednesday and offered limited units of the latest PlayStation 4 console in its original PS1's grey attire to mark the success. People always have a thing for limited editions and it was seen during the sale of the 20-Year Anniversary Edition PlayStation 4. The limited stock of 12,300 units was sold out soon after the console was put up for pre-order.

Taking advantage of the extreme demand for the limited edition console, some owners have put up the device for sale on eBay. While plunking $500 could have set you back with the unique console, people are now willing to spend up to $15,000 to own one. Since Sony just took pre-orders for the consoles, the units should ship on or after December 21.

In the box, there's the limited edition PS4 system in the original grey finish, classic four-color logo, an original grey DUALSHOCK 4 controller, PlayStation camera, and a vertical stand. The console truly brings back the old memories associated with your first console, which was sold two decades ago.

The demand for that unique console is clear. Even after the pre-order page is not active, people are looking for ways to get one of the units for themselves. EBay is offering various units for sale, of course, for an insanely high price. One of the auctions on eBay was concluded after a bidder purchased the console for $15,100 after 106 bids. Another console was sold for $20,100 on eBay after 34 bids.

There are several listings on eBay for the limited edition console. If you wish to own one of these, then place your bid and hope to win.
