Tim Tebow News and Rumors Update: The Quarterback Seeks Different Goals

Will Tim Tebow, the famous quarterback, ever make it back into the NFL?

He may or may not, but it does not affect him much, strangely!

He said: "It's not about football. It's what we're doing, through faith, hope and love and the people we serve all over the world. That's going to be bigger than football every single day of my life."

This highly popular NFL star has managed to raise more than $5.5 million over the years, through the Tim Tebow Foundation.

His friend and former Heisman Trophy winner Danny Wuerffel has commented that though Tebow's current focus is on charitable work, he has a bright future.

"Football is obviously the most known and recognized thing to a lot of people, but when you look at the platform he has, his greatest years are yet to come, whether he plays in a Super Bowl or never plays again," Wuerffel said.

Tebow had dismissed football earlier this year as a kind of religion. "We choose to idolize certain things, and love certain things," Tebow said according to the Montgomery Advisor while speaking at a benefit for the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama. "...I'm not saying it's wrong to love sports, I love them as much as anybody. But do we choose to really see what matters?"

Meanwhile, what happened to his last girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, whom he had been reportedly dating last month?

They both were featured on "Lip Sync Battle." They did not address the rumours of their dating, but it was only a brief fling they had, nevertheless, whispers the grapevine.

There may be two reasons for the end of the affair. Nina Dobrev wanted to concentrate on her career. The second reason had more to do with Tebrow. The football star wanted to "save the best for marriage" and "that was what turned Nina off."

So he has moved on to another rumoured date, Miss Universe Olivia Culpo. Will she come up to the mark? Tebow has some notions about his ideal girl.

It was last month that he had confessed to Ellen DeGeneres that he is single.

"I'm single, yes," Tebow told DeGeneres. "Obviously, [I'm looking for] someone that I'm extremely attracted to, but I think there has to be more there. There has to be depth." He said they needed to share the same beliefs, and that they had to have chemistry.

"There has to be something more than glitz and glamor," Tebow said.

Oboy! So right now if he doesn't hit off with the second gal, then you know what he is looking for!
