"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" News and Rumors: Surprise, Not Secret
As the hype surrounding "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" escalates to new heights during the last week before its release, the cast of the movie is reported to be equally excited about meeting the expectations of the fandom.
The movie signifies the unions of Warner Bros and DC comics as super heroes from both universes collide in an epic showdown. It is also the first time the character of Wonder Woman will make an appearance on the big screen. The role is essayed by Iranian actress Gal Gadot, who has reportedly portrayed the famous warrior as a very relatable character as opposed to her pristine TV version.
Diane Lane and Jesse Eisenberg expressed similar views stating that they found the excitement 'wonderful.' As per reports, Eisenberg was heard saying, "Normally you're in a movie and you're begging people to look at it. And this is the exact opposite: You have to keep everything a secret. So it's certainly a relief to be in something that's not only really great and that you're proud of but that other people are interested in as well." However, Henry Cavill, who portrays Superman, offered a rather cryptic answer by saying if he seemed to be handling the stress well, he probably was.
An air of mystery still surrounds the character portrayed by Scoot McNairy as nothing more than the name has been leaked. The character whose name is Wallace Keefe is entirely original and is speculated to play an important role in the plot. Ms. Lane added that the level of secrecy was important to the fands as it was more of a surprise that way.
Charles Roven, the Producer of the movie, expressed his firm belief that the movie would strike a balance between creative integrity and expectations of the fandom. Jesse Eisenberg, Holly Hunter and Ben Affleck have expressed their happiness at how uniquely Zack Snyder's movie has shaped their characters. They also added that fans should enjoy the movie without over analyzing it. Ben Affleck also revealed that the movie's theme is very relevant because it depicts what happens when everyone fears one another.
