Miley Cyrus Releases Sad Christmas Song With Some Hints Of Marijuana Use
Miley Cyrus put a new twist on spending Christmas by releasing a sad song with lyrics that hinted marijuana use.
"Out nowwwwww on SoundCloud!!! #mysadchristmassong #merryfuckingchristmas," the pop sensation announced on Twitter together with a photo of her posing as the snobbish Christmas Grinch, Vanity Fair reported.
The track was uploaded in Sound Cloud on December 24 with the Queen of Twerk singing the lyrics:
"This is my sad Christmas song/I've had it stuck in my head all day long/I wrote it on the car on my way home/Because I knew I'd walk in the door and I'd be alone."
Vanity Fair pointed out that the lyrics contain some hints that the speaker is under the influence of marijuana with lines like "I light another bong/I turn on the radio/I binge-watch my favorite shows."
And in true Miley Cyrus sense, the song never hesitated to use the f-word in expressing her frustration of spending Christmas away from loved ones.
"why'd I even put up that f**king tree?" and "this year feels kind of lame," as quoted by Billboard.
Miley's release of her sad Christmas song coincides with the release of sad tracks by LCD Soundsystem, a song said to be the first in five years and is guaranteed to break your heart, as what the band's Twitter post said.
The Weekend also joined the bandwagon as it released a sad song said to be in collaboration with the rapper Future.
"Been on the molly and them Xans with your daughter/If she catch me cheating, I will never tell her sorry," as the lyrics goes.
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus teases fans of her old, demure Hannah Montana-look in another post as she shares she admitted her old self, Mirror said.
"When haters say they miss the old me (ps some of y'all r f***innnn cray cray! I look like cousin it f***ed a clementine!) #imisstheoldmiley (sic)" she posted with a throwback Hannah-Montana photo.
