Following up on its threat made in the wake of Paris attacks, hackers group Anonymous claimed it has exposed Islamic State recruiters.

According to Mirror, Anonymous hackers have leaked details of five men living in Afghanistan, Tunisia and Somalia. One top recruiter in Europe has also been identified but details have not been made public yet. The hackers group also claimed it hit 5,500 Twitter handles of IS sympathizers.

In a video posted on Monday, Anonymous declared war on IS as retribution to the Paris attacks that left 129 dead. A spokesperson for the group claimed that it would launch the biggest operation against IS.

BGR reports that in response to the threat, IS called the hacker-activists group 'idiots', asking it what can be hacked.

"The #Anonymous hackers threatened in new video release that they will carry out a major hack operation on the Islamic state (idiots)," a statement made through an IS affiliate Telegram channel, reads, according to Business Insider.

Though the terrorist group downplayed the threat posed by Anonymous by stating that only Twitter handles and emails were affected, it advised its sympathizers to exercise caution while using the internet, urging them to constantly change their IP and use social media to only interact with people they know.
