CBS postponed episode 4 of Super Girl supposed to be aired on Monday night as it contains a series of bombings of the fictional city, National Capital that resound the recent Paris attacks on Friday last week.

Instead, the network skipped and aired Episode 5 entitled, 'Livewire', the name of the villain whom Supergirl will encounter later on after she had suspicions that her foster mother, Dr. Danvers (played by Helen Slater) will disapprove of her superhero role, Superherohype reported.

In this episode, Melissa Benoist who acted the role as Super Girl joins other cast members including Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra "Alex" Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow "Winn" Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), Iddo Goldberg as Red Tornado, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, and Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

Aside from Super Girl, the TV network also replaced an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles that is supposed to talk about a woman recruited by the Islamic State (ISIS) group. The scene is replaced by a story centering about a missing woman, according to CBS News.

Showtime and TNT have also acknowledged the tragedy in the recent Paris attacks that took away 129 lives before opening their shows.

In Sunday's episode of 'Homeland', Showtime warned their audience saying, "In light of this week's tragic events in Paris, we remind viewers that 'Homeland' contains content that some may find upsetting. We extend our deepest sympathies to all touched by the Paris attacks."

Monday's episode of 'Legends' was also cancelled due to said to exhibit a shooting incident in Paris.

In the previous years, TV networks have also cancelled or changed show episodes as they are said to depict real life events that may disturb audiences.

Earlier this year, USA network also postponed an episode of 'Mr Robot' said to contain a scene that resounded a real-life shooting of a TV news reporter and a cameraman in Virginia, The Christian Science Monitor said.
