Group of Hackers, ‘Anonymous,’ Uploads Video Declaring War on ISIS
A group of hackers known as "Anonymous" has declared war on ISIS shortly after the terrorist attacks on Paris.
In the video that the group allegedly uploaded on YouTube, a spokesperson speaks to the audience in French about waging a war against the terrorist group. The person, who is wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, says (via an English translation):
"Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared... Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go. We will launch the biggest operation ever against you."
The masked person later added, "The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger."
Anonymous has not confirmed the video, which was not uploaded on their official YouTube channel. The group's official Twitter page did declare war on the Daesh, which is another name for ISIS. The group has also been promoting the hashtags, #OpISIS and #OpParis, on social media.
"The purpose of this Op is to identify and report supporters of the atrocious November 13th 2015 Paris attacks in an effort to assist finding those responsible, demonstrating that we do not tolerate such atrocities and gather information that could help prevent further attacks in the future," the group wrote reported by the Washington Times.
Make no mistake: #Anonymous is at war with #Daesh. We won't stop opposing #IslamicState. We're also better hackers. #OpISIS

The three terrorists attacks last Friday killed at least 129 people and injured over 300. Shortly after the massive shootings and explosions, ISIS claimed responsibility for all of the attacks.
France have since bombed several sites believed to be involved with ISIS on Sunday in Raqqa, Syria. The airstrikes' targets reportedly included a command center, recruitment facilities, training camp and an ammunition base. The strikes included a total of 20 bombs and 12 aircrafts.
Authorities in France have been working hard on identifying all of the lives lost. The police have also been identifying the attackers and potential suspects.
