Madonna is teary-eyed in airing her sympathy for the recent Paris attacks while in the middle of a Stockholm, Sweden concert on Saturday.

In her six-minute speech, the Rebel Heart singer expressed her previous dilemma between sticking to her concert dates or cancelling them like other artists U2, the Foo Fighters, Coldplay did in paying respect to those who perish in the recent terror attacks.

"I was going to cancel tonight, but then I thought to myself, 'why should I give that to them? Why should I allow them to stop me? And to stop us from enjoying freedom. All of the places where people were killed were places where people were having fun. Where people were enjoying themselves. Eating in restaurants, dancing, singing, watching soccer matches. These are freedoms that we take for granted of course, and we must not, but they are freedoms that we deserve," Madonna told her audience as mentioned in Independent UK.

in the video posted on Saturday by her manager, Guy Oseary, the pop diva shared how the tragic attacks that killed at least 129 people and injured more than 350 by ISIS has left her feeling disturbed and sad, E! Online said.

"Actually I don't need my guitar for this 'cause it's been very hard for me to get through this show up to this point and not forget about what happened last night, so I need to take this moment to acknowledge the tragedy, the tragic killings, assassinations and the senseless endings of precious life that occurred last night in Paris," she said.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop blasted Madonna's speech saying that 'loving and treating each other with respect and dignity' will not change the planet as ISIS do not abide by the rules and would only want to wreak havoc to the Western world.
