Khloe and Lamar Pause Divorce due to Medical Situation
The long standing divorce between ex-NBA player, Lamar Odom and Kardashian's youngest sister, Khloe have been put off by until further notice. Khloe on Wednesday announced through her divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, that she is pausing the impending split and filed a petition that the case be dismissed "without prejudice" which means that it can still be refiled at a later date. TMZ was the first one to report the news and posted the papers on its website.
As per a statement made by the insider source close to the estranged couple, who has been forbidden by the Kardashians to disclose personal information publically, said that Khloe's decision is very sensible as Odom is still recovering from his comatose state in which he was found at the Nevada brothel. He was admitted to a hospital in Las Vegas following the incident, reports USA Today.
As the news of calling off the divorce temporarily reached the fans, it was received with delight on Twitter. The youngest sister of the Kardashians and Odom filed for a divorce last year and signed the papers in July after staying married for 4 years. However, the divorce was still pending by the judge due to backlog of cases. Khloe and Lamar were airlifted in a helicopter from Vegas to Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Monday where his condition is said to be improving. He was able to talk and also walk a little but he is still a long way to go as far as the recovery is concerned. Khloe is by the side of her ex-husband and has decided to also put her relationship with James Harden on hold until Lamar is fully recovered. As told to Radar Online, family court attorney Adam Michael Sacks says that the reality TV star may still be able to stop the divorce process which is almost at the brink of being finalized.
