Clash of Clans Halloween Update Available for Download

Supercell's popular strategy game gets a new update on the occasion of Halloween. The sale over the holiday weekend will make the strong spells cheaper, costing fewer gems than before! As per the official community forums of supercell, the Halloween thread details about the goodies that the enthusiastic players can expect, reports Design & Trend.

This update comes at an opportune time of Halloween which means that the players are encouraged to use more spells over the holiday weekend. To make this task possible, the game developers have brought in two elemental changes to the game play. The players will not be able to use the Spell Factory boost function at the cost of 1 gem instead of 10 gems and the extra elixir for harvesting will be made available through limited-time Halloween cauldron, says Yibalda. Players need to update their game to the newest version to be able to enjoy the additional spells and features that have been rolled out in the spirit of Halloween.

For those who have been newly inducted into the "Clash of Clans" family, the clans together harvest elixir which is used to create spells in Spell Factories. These boosts are now cheaper for the clans to produce more elixir in their spell factory, making their spell attacks more effective over the holiday weekend. Also note that since the boosts are now cheaper, these gems can be used to buy more bonuses rather than magic only, reported Scottmann Show

To match the Halloween spirit, there have been changes to the visual aesthetics such as sounds, obstacles and loading screens which have been altered to match the holiday season. The update is now available for the Android and iPhone users as an optional add-on for the players who would like to enhance their spooky spirit during Halloween season, says International Business Times.
