As reported by Neuro Gadget, the latest iOS 9 has brought several new updates for the iPhone users, especially the new 3D touch technology that has been making waves on their handsets. Facebook, DropBox and Instagram have already announced their updates in line with the latest technology. Following suit, Whatsapp will also be joining the bandwagon with their latest update, 2.12.9. The users will be able to download the latest version from Apple iTunes that will not only accommodate the state-of-the-art 3D technology but also introduce other small features like sharing location, videos and contact cards straight from the chat. The new update, however, is only available on the latest iPhone models, 6s and 6s Plus. There is also additional support for languages like Arabic that are written from right to left.

According to Tech Times, if the users want to use the latest version successfully, they must first update their phones to the most current version of iOS that is 9. You can also see some improvements but did not disclose as yet. All the new features that are available in the latest version can be experienced with iOS 9. Another interesting feature added to the Whatsapp is the starred message feature. The users will be able to long press and hold selected messages to be marked as starred. This means that they will be easily accessible later without sifting through the long list of messages.

As reported by Latino Post, considering that the new OS will completely change the look and feel of your iPhones, the latest updates introduced by Whatsapp are not all that bad. Stay tuned to learn more about the upcoming updates for your iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
