Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting Divorce Update: Estranged Husband Asking for Spousal Support

Kaley Cuoco's divorce might be taking a costly turn.

According to PEOPLE, Ryan Sweeting is seeking spousal support while asking the court to not grant spousal support to Cuoco. US Weekly added that in the papers that Sweeting filed on Oct. 15, he also asks that Cuoco cover his legal fees in the divorce.

The 29-year-old "Big Bang Theory" actress filed for divorce from the tennis star on Sept. 3 after nearly two years of marriage. The divorce papers cited irreconcilable differences. Shortly after the split was announced, rumors quickly claimed that Cuoco dumped Sweeting, 28, after he failed to kick his addition to painkillers. The rumors added there was a lot of tension between the two leading up to the split.

"The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together recently, the tension was noticeable," the source told PEOPLE. "You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. It seemed they were trying to work out their marriage by going on dates, but they both seemed miserable."

The US Weekly source added, "She supported him, but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober. He'd tell her he was working on it, and instead go get wasted."

Cuoco and Sweeting got married on New Year's Eve in 2013 after only dating for three-months. There was a pre-nuptial agreement that was signed one month prior to their wedding. The couple appeared to be happy and very much in love throughout their marriage.

Since the split, Cuoco has dropped Sweeting from her last name and has deleted all of the pictures of her with Sweeting that were posted on her Instagram.

Cuoco and Sweeting have not commented about their divorce.
