Lamar Odom Seems 'Brain Dead', Estranged Wife Takes His 'Medical Decisions'

Lamar Odom, former NBA star, is said to be "clinically brain dead", according to an insider's report to Radar Online. "The tests showed no function."

He had sunk into a "medically induced coma" since he was discovered with his face down in a brothel at Nevada Tuesday afternoon.

His entire family, including the ex-wife Khloé Kardashian, has been bracing up to hear the worst news, according to HNGN.

After being hospitalized at the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas following his stay at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, an investigation looked at 911 recordings that showed that in three days he had used cocaine and ingested at least 10 herbal male performance enhancement pills called "Reload", which has been certified by FDA to be dangerous.

While dealing with Odom's drug overkill, the entire family has been struggling to come to terms with it, and is gearing up for the worst. "They're pretty sure this is goodbye, but they're praying for a miracle," a family source told People. "They know that God has the power to heal him, but that's really the last hope at this point. This is really bad."

Odom's medical decisions is being taken by Kardashian, Odom's estranged wife, as they are separated by still "legally married," according to People.

They got married in 2009, which was televised on her E! reality show titled "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

After five years, they decided to divorce, the documents of which were signed last July. But the paperwork has been held up, and has not reached the courts.

"She never dreamed that she'd have these responsibilities, and it's just so overwhelming and unexpected," said a source. "She had been thinking of him as an ex, so to find out that, 'No, you have to do this.' Well that's really hard for her."
