Anna Duggar Miffed With Michelle's Advice To The Newly Wed Wife
Michelle Duggar's advice to newly-wed women to submit to their husbands for sex even when tired or worse pregnant, has reportedly not gone down well with her daughter-in-law Anna Duggar.
Hollywood Life claims that Anna Duggar is miffed by the elder Duggar's blog post, which was seen as a snub.
"At first Anna blamed herself for Josh's wandering eye, but now that's she been away from him and has been getting support from her own family, she's starting to realize that she is NOT to blame. In fact, she's gone from feeling sad to angry. And adding fuel to the flame, is Michelle's recent sex advice. Anna thinks her words are a direct aim at her and they are passive aggressive and hurtful," a source said.
"She feels like Josh's parents are in so much denial about their son that they would rather blame Anna for their failed relationship than take responsibility for not getting Josh the proper help and treatment that he needed when they found out he was molesting his sisters," the source continued adding,
"And Anna doesn't buy into that pleasing mentality anymore because she was ALWAYS there for Josh even when she was exhausted and that didn't stop him from betraying her and the family."
Josh Duggar had confessed to cheating on his wife Anna following reports that he had paid for sex through Ashley Madison. Two porn stars later claimed that the eldest son of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar had slept with them.
Michelle Duggar's advice was a response to a fan who asked what advice she would give her daughter Jill as a newly-wed wife.
"Anyone can iron Jim Bob's shirt, anybody can make lunch for him. He can get his lunch somewhere else. But you are the only one who can meet that special need that he has in his life for intimacy. You're it. You're the only one," Michelle wrote.
"And so be available, and not just available, but be joyfully available for him. Smile and be willing to say, 'Yes, sweetie I am here for you,' no matter what, even though you may be exhausted and big pregnant and you may not feel like he feels. 'I'm still here for you and I'm going to meet that need because I know it's a need for you.' "
