A huge '90s reunion might happen within the near future! According to several reports, the Spice Girls and the Backstreet Boys are in talks to plan a joint tour.

"The Spice Girls tour has been this idea bouncing around for the past year and a half, and it's something we're still talking about," Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean teased in an interview with Rolling Stone.

Rumors of a Spice Girls reunion have been circulating the Internet for a while. The Daily Star claimed that a reunion has not happened yet because the Spice Girls, as popular as they were, would not have been able to sell out venues on their own.

"They were big but their success didn't last quite as long," Daily Star wrote. "So teaming with another big act is a way of booking bigger venues."

If the plans for a joint tour come to fruition, it would be interesting to see if every member from both bands would be present. The one questionable member would be Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice. Since her singing days, Beckham has been extremely busy building her fashion line. With her new commitments and four children, a world tour might not fit into her schedule.

Several reports have also stated that Beckham will not be going on tour but she would be willing to make an appearance here and there depending on where the tour stops. Melanie Brown, aka Mel B/Scary Spice, however, would want the entire group present.

"[Victoria] is my friend, I love her to pieces. If we do something, it has to be all of us," Mel said on The Meredith Vieira Show. "That's the whole point. As soon as there's something to actually announce, I'll be yelling it from the rooftops!"

The members of the Backstreet Boys, on the other hand, are more than ready to reunite. The band will be going on a Backstreet Boys cruise in 2016 and might introduce new music. McLean talked about working on new music in the Rolling Stone interview as well.

"We're going back in on the [Oct] 12th to dust off the cobwebs. We're working with a new producer, Jay Cash, who wrote 'Sugar' for Maroon 5," he said. "This is just the beginning phase, but we're hoping to have the album done before our cruise in May."

The Cruise will take place from May 10 -14 and will make stops in several European cities such as Barcelona and Cannes.
