Carrey Mulligan Back on The Red Carpet After The Birth of Her First Baby

Congratulations are in order for Carey Mulligan and her spouse Marcus Mumford as they have lately taken on the role of parents.

According to Huff post, the 30 year old British actress has recently been blessed with a healthy baby. The couple is unable to put their emotions into words as this is their first child together.

"Carey has given birth to a healthy and happy baby. She is just enjoying this time with her family and close friends," a source told E! News.

Mulligan is a versatile actress and despite of her sleepless nights, the diva has returned and is on the verge of unveiling her new mommy side. Earlier on Wednesday, the proud mother was photographed at the 59th BFI London Film Festival where she made her first appearance after conceiving her first baby in September. Confidently returning to where she belongs, she made a statement regarding her upcoming movie’s premiere titled as ‘Suffragette’.

She joined her “Suffragette’ co-stars and stunned the paparazzi as she was pictured walking on the red carpet in a totally mesmerizing manner. The actress skipped the world premiere of her latest film ‘Telluride’, which took place at the beginning of September as she was caught up in doctor’s appointment and was keeping a check on her pregnancy.

From hospital gowns to back in designers dresses, she posed for the camera for her fans and thanked her supporters for the constant wishes regarding her good health. The couple is yet to announce the baby news and have not endorsed the news completely.

According to Us Weekly, "They weren't planning on announcing, but she hasn't stopped working. Everybody around her is being very supportive. The show ends soon and they're going back to England after.

The news came out right after Carey confirmed that the couple is trying their best to initiate family. She also pointed out that her family life will not create obstacles in her professional arena and the actress has kept her promise as she is now attending various red carpet events.
