Good news for all the Transformers fans, after making huge success with Transformers: Age of Extinction, its 5th part will be out next year. Paramount Pictures has tentatively announced the release date of the Transformers franchise as June 2016 and is currently the most trending topic amongst movie lovers. It is, however, uncertain if Michael Bay will be a part of this movie. It is also rumored that Shia Lebouf and Megan Fox may return for this version, says Christian Today.

The even better news for the Transformers fans is that there not only be Transformers 5 but also 6,7 and 8 after that, reports Gospel Herald Entertainment. The creative writer behind penning the new Transformers movie will be Akiva Goldsman who is also responsible for a few Batman movies and also the Oscar winning, A Beautiful Mind.

According to Variety, Hasbro Chief Steven J Davis says that while the tentative date as per Paramount is June 2016, more realistic release date will be sometime in 2017. The delay has been attributed to the planning that movie needs to meet the standards its predecessors set for itself. Even though Transformer movies make mega bucks at the box office, they are often criticized to be unintelligent and sometimes even lack the plot. The story writers are planning to change all of that with their long term planning.

If the rumors are to be believed, the new Transformers movie will pick up where Age of Extinction left off, says Gospel Herald Entertainment. There are also hearsays that the new movie will be tied to the 1986 animated version that was released for the theaters. However, Mark Ryan, Bumblebee's voice in the movie, has refuted these claims and said that there is no connection between these to movies.
