Taylor Swift Performs “Shake it Off” for CBS Thanksgiving Parade
Taylor Swift, the "Love Story" hitmaker, belted out some of her latest hits from her new album "1989" for her fans at the CBS Thanksgiving Parade.
The 24-year-old Grammy winner sang her super-successful single "Shake It Off" and "Welcome to new York" for the occasion, as thousands tuned in to watch America's sweetheart perform.
Swift was rocking a shiny metallic crop top with a matching skirt and teamed it up with a pair of shiny bronze heels. She also had on her signature red lipstick, managing to pull of the entire flirty look effortlessly.
Swift had four back-up singers for chorus, while the band played out the tunes for the two songs. A saxophonist even tried to match up with swift's dancing along while she sang.
"Shake it Off" was Swift's first single from the album "1989." The official video of the song is hilarious where Swift is seen trying her hand at several dance forms like Digiting, contemporary and even cheerleading. But no matter what she takes up, she always ends up as the worst dancer.
There is a Twerking portion where we thought Swift might just attempt it, but - No.
In the end, however, Swift is seen dancing around with people who are just as bad as her at dancing as they all "shake it off" together.
"1989" is Taylor Swift's fifth studio album, which she has been working on for the past two years. She wrote "Shake It Off" with Max Martin and Shellback, the same team that produced super hits like "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
