Apple Kicks Off Its One-Day Promotion; Offers iTunes Gift Card On Product Purchase
Apple has kicked off its one-day promotion of giving an iTunes gift card worth $25 to $100 with purchase of any product.
Apple has started its one-day promotion of Black Friday sale, where it is offering customers a guaranteed iTunes gift voucher with the purchase of any product. Depending on the purchased Apple gadget, customers will get a (PRODUCT) RED iTunes gift card worth at least $25 and up to $100. The offer is not valid for iPhone purchases.
The full list of qualifying Apple products along with their gift voucher denomination is listed below:
- Apple iPod touch - $25 gift card
- Apple iPod nano - $25 gift card
- Apple TV - $25 gift card
- Apple iPad - $50 gift card
- Any Apple Mac - $100 gift card.
Apple is also extending its offer to select Beats by Dre headphones. With each purchase, customers will get an iTunes voucher worth $25.
The main motive behind this promotion is Apple's eagerness to support Project RED. According to Apple, with every gift card distributed during Black Friday, Apple will donate a percentage to the global fund to fight AIDS.
This offer is a part of Apple's two-week campaign, where the company is finding new ways to donate funds towards Project RED. Customers can also be a part of the Apple's campaign by purchasing exclusive content featured on the App Store's special section. The proceeds from the app purchase goes to the Global Fund.
On Cyber Monday, Apple has promised to donate a portion of every sale at its online and retail stores to the Global Fund. The campaign concludes on December 7.
