‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 Spoilers: Abby Lee Miller Reveals Shooting has Begun, Maddie Ziegler on Set?
Dance coach Abby Lee Miller of Lifetime's reality TV show, "Dance Moms," revealed that filming for season 6 has already begun. Miller, whose return to the show was being questioned for some time, posted a picture of clouds on Instagram.
Her caption read, "Leaving on a Jet Plane, Don't know when I'll be back again! #ALDC #dancemoms #seasonsix #aldcla#soproud"
Miller was rumored to be leaving the show due to payment issues with the network. In addition to this rumor, another one was claiming that Miller wanted to start her own series.
Miller will not be the only returning cast member, however. Several reports have claimed that Maddie Ziegler, who many speculated would be exiting from the show due to her busy schedule, is most likely returning as well.
In a post on Eventbrite about a kick-off event for "Dance Moms" season 6, Ziegler's name was listed as one of the dancers. The other dancers who were also listed included JoJo Siwa, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker and Nia Frazer.
After season 6 was announced, Ziegler's return was repeatedly questioned. Since she has stated numerous times that she wanted to focus on her acting career and practice singing in order to become a triple threat, many assumed she would not sign on for another season. Ziegler is reportedly starring in a Sia-directed movie titled "Sister." However, it seems like Ziegler will be able to fit everything into her schedule.
Season 6 of "Dance Moms" will premiere next year. The cast's first competition for the upcoming season will be on Oct. 10 in Glendale, California.
