iPhone 6S Update: Apple's Selling Price is 3X the Cost Price on Every Mobile Device

With the launch of the new flagship of the iPhone 6s series, the entire global consumers are keen on owning one of them. However, it would astonish the consumers to hear that, Apple rakes in $513 on the sale of every unit of the iPhone 6s Plus phone.

According to the research conducted by the research firm IHS, Apple's latest phone retails for more than three times what it costs to produce. In figures, the cost incurred b y the company for the manufacturing of the iPhone 6s Plus device would be approximately around $236. However, the price at which the company gives out the product is $749, which makes it three times the value of the cost incurred in manufacturing the device.

Apple has been the most prominent player in the market, and the introduction of the so called 3-D touch feature has been considered to be one of the biggest additions to the new iPhone. IHS said the screen costs $52.50, making it the most expensive component of the 6s Plus. On the other hand, IHS also reported that the camera costs $22.50 on each device.
