Fart Pills that Make Your Flatulence Smell of Roses and Chocolate
A French scientist has invented a new kind of pills that can make flatulence smell sweeter.
The 65-year-old inventor and artist says the pills are made of all natural ingredients like fennel ,seaweed and berries and can help in indigestion and have no side effects.
The pills can give ward off the malodour with the smell of roses and violets and now a new scent that of chocolate.
The pills are available online on the website pilulepet.com and have even got approval from the health authorities, according to Christian Poincheval, the maker of the pills, who lives in the village of Gesvres in western France, reports the Telegraph.
For the festive season he has come out with a special variant called the "Father Christmas Fart pills," which will give out the smell of chocolates.
A jar of 60 retails at $8 and is supposed to prevent bloating and gas.
What gave the idea to Poincheval? A hearty meal with friends led to obvious discomfort and a very smelly after dinner gathering.
"Our farts were so smelly we were nearly suffocated. Something had to be done," he said.
He has been selling the pills since 2006. "I have all sorts of customers," he told the Telegraph. "Some buy them because they have problems with flatulence and some buy them as a joke to send to their friends. Christmas always see a surge in sales."
