Pete Davidson Pays Tribute To 9/11 Firefighter Father
The 21-year-old Pete Davidson, of the "Saturday Night Live's" fame, touched everyone's heart with a tribute to his firefighter father Scott Davidson.
He had been killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, when Pete had been just 7 years old.
Pete Davidson recaptured those moments together in a series of tweets on Friday, according to People. The comedian was only 7 years old when his father died, and Friday marked the 14th anniversary of his death.
"Can't believe it's been 14 years," he tweeted alongside a picture of the two. "I remember seeing ur gigantic dick like it was just yesterday. RIP Dad #NeverForget."
He then followed up the tweet with a more serious tweet:
"All jokes aside. There's not a day that goes by where I don't think of u. Ur my hero. Cant wait to see u again someday."
Another stopover was Instagram, so that he could share pictures with his dad. "Over 2/3 of my life without you. It feels like it was just yesterday," he wrote as a caption on the post, in which he called his father his "hero," according to E! News.
He then thanked all his fans again for their support and help.
"Thank you so much for all the support today you guys. I really appreciate it. I'm a very lucky guy," he wrote.
