Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs Relationship Update: Couple has Drifted Apart, Wedding no Longer a Priority

Robert Pattinson and his fiancée FKA Twigs have reportedly drifted apart due to their busy schedules. Their wedding, which was rumored to be in the fall, is now "off the agenda," a source said to PEOPLE. The source added, "they haven't call off the engagement."

Pattinson, who is known for playing Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" movies, is currently in Ireland filming The Lost City of Z, a movie from Brad Pitt's production company. He is expected to head to Colombia for some more filming, which "is bound to create further distance between them."

"They've definitely drifted and have barely spoken while he's in Belfast and she's been in the States," the source said.

A source told E! News that even though Pattinson and FKA Twigs have not been seen together, it does not mean that their relationship is in jeopardy.

"They haven't drifted apart [despite claims], but they haven't spoken as much lately because of his filming schedule," the source explained. "There most likely won't be a wedding this year, but that has been the expectation for months. There isn't a rush to get married. Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married."

While in the states, the musician has been staying at Pattinson's home in Los Angeles.

Pattinson and FKA Twigs got engaged earlier this year.
