Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus Feud: ‘Anaconda’ Singer Wants Cyrus to Apologize

Nicki Minaj was not happy at all with the comments that Miley Cyrus made about her during an interview.

To show Cyrus just how unhappy she was, the 'Anaconda' singer decided to call her out right after she made her acceptance speech for the "Best Hip-Hop Video" of the year at the 2015 Video Music Awards.

"Back to this b**** that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press, Miley what's good?" the 32-year-old said.

"Hey, we're all in this industry, we all do interviews, and we all know how they manipulate s**t. Nicki, congratuf**kinglations," Cyrus, who hosted the gig, replied. Cyrus said that Minaj was "not very polite" or nice when she tweeted about not getting a nomination for the Video of the Year award.

Even though Cyrus gave her an explanation, Minaj reportedly wants a real apology.

"Nicki is hard and doesn't like to be disrespected," a source told Hollywood Life. "Miley needs to take accountability for what she says and just apologize. She's trying to blame the media, saying her words got twisted, but Nicki isn't buying that. [Nicki] thinks she should stop blaming others and watch what she says."

The source added, "Miley likes being outrageous and controversial but she needs to learn to not mess with someone like Nicki."

Cyrus, on the other hand, is not planning on apologizing anytime soon.

"Miley's not looking for any trouble but if it comes her way then she'll deal with it accordingly. She's not scared of Nicki!" a source said. "Miley's basically grown up in this industry and has been fighting bigger and more powerful people and bullies like Nicki for a long time. And if Nicki thinks Miley's going to apologize to her or attempt to censor what comes out her mouth, Nicki's got another thing coming."

Cyrus and Minaj have not commented on the on-air exchange. Some people speculated that the whole thing was staged especially since it looks like Minaj is trying to hold back a smile right after she called Cyrus out. However, the video clips of Cyrus' reaction, as well as her family's reaction, suggest that Cyrus was completely blindsided.
