Josh Duggar Rehab Update: Life of Scandal-Ridden Reality Star in Church Facility Revealed
Josh Duggar is reportedly missing from his Christian rehab facility, which he allegedly checked into on Aug. 25.
Duggar, who has been the subject of two major scandals this year, has not been seen at the center's mandatory meetings or its church services. One eyewitness told RadarOnline that on Aug. 28, Duggar was not at a large group meeting at the center's affiliate church, the North Love Baptist Church. If he were actually checked into the rehab center, known as the Reformers Unanimous, he would have had to be present for the chapter meeting. Duggar has also missed several other mandatory meetings.
"Josh definitely wasn't there," one onlooker said. "It was very strange."
The statement released by his family read:
"As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son's decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear. Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change. In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future."
Now that Duggar has not been spotted at the meetings, many are speculating whether or not he even checked in. Some are wondering if he simply checked himself out and is now laying low.
Duggar's most recent scandal was linked to the Ashley Madison data dump. The information that was stolen and then released by hackers revealed that Duggar had two accounts on the website that encourages married or committed people to engage in affairs. Duggar released a statement and admitted to cheating on his wife, Anna, who he has four kids with.
Duggar was also involved with a child molestation scandal earlier this year. In Tough magazine revealed that when Duggar was a teenager, he had sexually molested five minor girls. Two of his victims were his sisters, Jessa and Jill.
