‘Dance Moms’ Cast Update: Abby Lee Miller to be Replaced by Cathy Nesbitt-Stein?
Abby Lee Miller might not be returning to season six of "Dance Moms." The latest rumors are claiming that Cathy Nesbitt-Stein might be girls' next dancing teacher. The rumors added that it is unclear whether or not dancer Maddie Ziegler will return.
According to the reports, Miller does not know if she wants to come back for another season because the network, Lifetime, is reportedly "a little in arrears with their payment." If Miller does not come back, Nesbitt-Stein has already expressed her desire to take Miller's spot.
"Oh my gosh, in a heartbeat. If that's the direction that they wanted to go because then I know they have to film in Ohio," Nesbitt-Stein said. "I absolutely enjoy doing it. If they could do something that they could come back here I would definitely be interested participating with them. "
Nesbitt-Stein and her daughter Vivi-Anne did not star in the second half of season five due to their busy schedule.
In regards to Ziegler, the 12-year-old, who danced in Sia's "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart" music videos, said that she does not know what is going on with season six.
"We just finished season five and I'm not sure what's going to happen for season six. I don't know if I'm going to do it or not, so it just depends," Ziegler said to MTV Australia.
Ziegler also talked about her career plans.
"I would definitely say doing movies and definitely doing TV shows but also I would say moving on with my dance career," she said. "I'm not exactly sure what I want to be doing with my dancing yet but I definitely know I want to be doing a lot of acting, like scripted roles and movies and TV shows. It would be so cool. I really want to keep modeling but it's not my number one goal in life. But it's so fun, I love doing it, it's just that - it's not like I just want to be a model when I'm older."
Lifetime is reportedly looking for new dancers and their moms to add to the cast.
"Dance Moms" season six does not have a premiere date yet.
