VMA Awards 2015 Drama: Justin Bieber Breaks Down, Sobs After His Performance
Justin Bieber has surprised fans as he gets emotional and sobs after his performance for his new video "What Do You Mean" at the VMA 2015 night.
This is the first time that the Canadian crooner did a live performance of his brand new single "What Do You Mean" and his second stage return following his special number at the Billboard Hot 100 Festival last weekend, Billboard reported.
Bieb's VMA performance consisted of two parts. He appeared on stage in an all-black outfit with backup dancers while he performed an earlier-released single, "Where Are U Now," a track that has been gaining more popularity in the charts and is recently in Top 8.
The song, a result from a collaboration with Diplo and Skrillex, is said to be his first track that made it to the top 10 since 2013's "Beauty and a Beat."
Somewhere in his performance, the 22-year old hitmaker is musing about the setbacks in his career and his personal life which brought him to tears in the end, TMZ said.
Meanwhile, Jelena fans are curious how Selena Gomez reacted to Justin's emotional performance at the VMAs.
Though, the cameras were not panned towards the songstress but some photos of her ignoring the entire Bieber performance got viral on Twitter, Seventeen said.
In the photos, Gomez is seated next to best pal Taylor Swift, who is also present during the awards night to receive her Video Award of The Year. While Bieb's is singing, Selena is said to be busy checking on her phone, an act which raised eyebrows from fans.
"SELENA DURING JUSTIN'S PERFORMANCE IM DEAD"
"Selena during Justin's performance....how supportive"
Some fans, meanwhile, are quick to defend their idol saying that Gomez is in the backstage while her ex-bf is performing.
"SELENA WAS BACKSTAGE WHEN JUSTIN WAS PERFORMING SO STOP EMBARRASSING URSELF BY HATING ON HER FOR FAKE ACCUSATIONS OF HER EXPRESSION"
"Please note that Selena went backstage before Justin's performance & even if she didn't, they never showed her face while he was performing."
