iPhone 6S Plus Release Date: Rumor Mills Speculate Apple will be Launched on September 9

The smart phone maker Apple has always created excitement and curiosity among technology analysts and enthusiasts alike worldwide about its new line of products. Rumors about its new iPhones- iPhone 6S plus or iPhone7, their look, design, specification, etc have been doing rounds for many days now. With the rumored launch date of new iPhones around the corner, these speculations have gained momentum.

A report on Buzzfeed reveals that the new iPhone 6S plus may be launched on 9 September at an event. While rumors suggest that, the sale of the new phones will start in the weeks following that from either 18 September or 25 September.

According to Wall street Journal, Apple has asked its manufacturers to produce about 90 million pieces, of both models 4.7-inch version, as well as the 5.5-inch one combined by the end of this year, as it expects record sales for this new model.

However, the rumors do not speak much about the possible cost of the new line of iPhones, they speak more about the specifications, etc. While speculations are rife that, Apple might prefer higher memory phones, and might do away with 16GB models and go for more of 32GB and higher configuration. The new models will have higher capacity storage in the range of 64GB, 128 GB, and so on.

Rumors of specifications such as its chassis, etc definitely please the customers, a report published in Forbes, speculates that Apple will use a stronger chassis for this new model iPhone6S plus than the previous models. According to the report, the chassis will be of strong metals such as Aluminum series 7000, primarily used in the aerospace industry. Apple had to go for this strong metal to avoid breaking of the cases, one of the biggest complaints it received against the previous iPhone6 model phones.
