A group of Florida youths have been arrested for brutally attacking a teenage boy with a machete and burying him alive, after which two of the attackers had sex next to the dying boy.

The Miami Herald reports that three boys and one girl ranging from their teens to their early 20s were arrested for the murder of 17-year-old Jose Amaya Guardado in June in the woods outside the Homestead Job Corps, a U.S. Department of Labor job training center.

The group set upon the boy with a machete, wounding him terribly and forcing him to crawl into a grave they had dug before the assault, having planned the attack roughly two weeks before carrying it out.

Four people have already been arrested for the crime. They are: 18-year-old Desiray Strickland, 20-year-old Kaheem Arbelo, 18-year-old Jonathan Lucas, and 19-year-old Christian Colon. Arbelo is said to have been a drug dealer at the school. Arbelo, Lucas, and Colon have all confessed to the crime on video. Strickland is said to have assaulted officers and refused to cooperate with the authorities.

As if the details of the crime weren't horrific enough, the police report indicates that Strickland and Arbelo returned to the scene of the crime while Guardado was dying and had sex next to his shallow grave as he suffocated under the dirt and bled to death.

The police described all those involved as a group of bullies who operated within the school and say they believe the killing was triggered by a debt the group felt Guardado owed Arbelo.

Since all of those involved in the crime are over the age of 18, they will be charged as adults and may face the death penalty. It is expected the police will also make a fifth arrest soon.
