Rihanna Dating News: Matt Barnes Not Lying About Going Out With BBHMM Songstress; 'Too Grown To Lie'

Rihanna has proven once more that she is one of the most desirable women these days as Memphis Grizzlies player, Matt Barnes, insisted that they have been dating despite RiRi's previous denial in social media.

Dating rumors started when the basketball player insinuated during an interview with TMZ via Jezebel saying "Rihanna's my friend right now. So, uh, we'll see where it goes,"

In his most recent appearance at The Jim Rome Show, the basketball player, however, is sticking to what he previously said. This time, with more seriousness, SI said.

"You live and you learn. When you're in a situation like this and, you know, you just learn. You just got to keep stuff to yourself obviously. But the way I'm putting it right now, I'm too grown to lie, you know what I mean. It is what it is, I'm going to let this blow by like everything else blows by."

However, media sources are getting confused as the songstress, who is rumored to be dating F1 racer Lewis Hamilton, slammed Matt Barnes in an Instagram post.

In the post, she posted a picture of the basketball player with hashtags (#shesnotthatintoyou #shesneverevenmetyou) defending herself from the rumors.

Thanks to Glen "Big Baby" Davis, Matt Barnes has been saved from utter disgrace. In his media rounds, Davis never failed to make a comment about RiRi and Matt's status.

On Wednesday's ESPN's "His and Hers" with Jemele Hill and Michael Smith, Davis defended his pal, Fox Sports said.

"I don't agree with Rihanna. Matt Barnes is an honest, standup guy...He really knows her. He knows her. He knows her. He's not lying about that. Why would he lie about that? He's a grown man. Why would he lie about that? We know Rihanna is Rihanna, why would you lie about that?"

He continued saying, "She has her reasons...But you have a relationship where you guys know each other. Don't bash him. I wouldn't do that to somebody I text and that I know. Kudos to Matt."

Aside from Matt Barnes, Rihanna is also rumored to be dating F1 racer Lewis Hamilton and has been linked again to her ex, Chris Brown said to want her back.
